PR campaigns to raise ME awareness

Mushroom Marketing has worked closely with the Dorset ME Support Group to raise awareness and information about ME. We have carried out PR campaigns for the group’s forthcoming events and to raise the group’s profile across the region. Most recently we gained major press in local publications for events the group was holding in aid of ME Awareness Week. This also enabled the group to promote the 10th anniversary of the opening of the CFS/ME clinic, the first of its kind, at Wareham Hospital. To mark the week, we organised an interview and feature with the Bournemouth Daily Echo and an ME sufferer to highlight the difficulties faced by those with the condition and to provide help and support for them and the group.
