The Crown at Marnhull is a 16th century inn in North Dorset, which was recently refurbished to add 5 new luxury letting rooms. It was also featured in Thomas Hardy’s classic novel, Tess of The D’Urbervilles under the pseudonym “The Pure Drop Inn”. We created a brand new logo and branding for The Crown at Marnhull for their revitalised image as a luxury inn and restaurant. We then worked closely with them to design a brochure and website which matched the new branding and decadent imagery. We also carried out a number of successful PR campaigns in aid of The Crown winning the Beautiful Beer Award and Cask Marque accreditation. The Crown gained a range of press throughout the Dorset region in such publications as the Bournemouth Daily Echo, Dorset Magazine, Western Gazette and Blackmore Vale Magazine. We also organised reader offers in major national publications such as Period Living, Mature Times and The Daily Telegraph promoting The Crown’s historic and notable reputation.
