Our Bournemouth-based marketing and PR agency Mushroom Marketing has certainly entered the New Year with a bang, experiencing our busiest January since the company began in 2004. We have recently gained several new clients from the Bournemouth, Hampshire and Sussex areas within the financial and IT training sectors.
Mushroom Marketing has experienced a high volume of requests from businesses requiring assistance with their marketing plans in order to plan out their marketing and PR for the rest of the year. Toward the end of last year we also gained Encyclopaedia Britannica as a client; working with them to negotiate reader offers in national newspapers which we successfully achieved.
We are fast-approaching our sixth year in business; and judging by the amount of interest there has been in our services, this shows no sign of waning. It seems that many local businesses have decided to drive their businesses forward despite the current market.
The company has certainly come a long way since its creation, working with well over 50 clients from various industries, including healthcare, charity, not-for-profit, industrial, environmental, legal, IT, construction and leisure. We currently have a broad range of clientele in numerous industry sectors, expanding the capacity and capability of our PR and marketing services. We are also looking to expand the business further this year and take on an additional member of staff.
Director of Mushroom Marketing Emma Ansell is delighted with the company's start to 2010, "January has been such a brilliant month for us business-wise. Marketing and PR agencies are usually the first to notice a difference in the market so hopefully this is a positive sign for other local businesses."
