Our Bournemouth-based marketing and PR agency has expanded, celebrating a recent addition to the office. Bournemouth University student Rosie Stride is currently completing a work placement at our agency.
Rosie, 19, originally from Farnham in Surrey, is currently in her second year at Bournemouth University where is she studying for a BA (Hons) degree in Marketing. Her spell at Mushroom Marketing will allow her to gain experience and understanding of the marketing and PR industry and also help with her course. Rosie says, "Working at Mushroom Marketing has given me a fantastic insight into the practical aspect of my degree. Despite only working here a few months, the experience I have gained has been incredibly valuable. The opportunity to work in the industry alongside my degree has been beneficial to my studies and has undoubtedly confirmed my passion for marketing."
Having recently celebrated our fifth anniversary in business, we certainly have much cause for celebration. Along with our new addition, we have taken on several new clients, showing our ability to expand the business despite the recession. We now have an even wider range of clients in various industry sectors.
Director Emma Ansell is delighted with the recent major growth in business, "It's great that we are able to welcome Rosie, who has already proved she can successfully provide fresh and new ideas for business at Mushroom Marketing. Also, it has been wonderful to be able to confidently take on a wider range of new clients over a short period of time. Our last few months have been extremely busy for us and this looks set to continue well into 2010."
